John has a heart to serve. His faith is really important to him. He holds his faith at the most important thing of all. He believes that all things are possible through Jesus Christ. Currently he is a board member supporting MJV Ministries which has a mission to minister to local communities supporting their spiritual and emotional growth.
He also mentors young people through work or alumni functions. He believes to pour into our younger generation to encourage them to reach their potential no mater what the obstacle.
Prior to this he spent over 20 years has been attending the Christian Church of Bayside. He actively participated in his church by working in the Treasury Department and maintaining the accounting. He did this for over 5 years and followed in his father's footsteps.
In 2009, John along with three other close friends, established a new Youth group for the church that was aimed at preteens. Those youths ages 10 to 21. He feels that in an emerging world where kids can become grown ups in elementary school, that there should be a strong core understanding of Jesus Christ. In March of 2013, John was elected to serve as a Board Member. He was recognized for his dedication to the church's mission. He said, "This is an exciting opportunity to accomplish more for the New York City area. I look forward to what God is going to do!" In 2015, he helped to rebrand the church working on a new website and a new logo. He loves the people but loves serving God.
